چکیده

In communication networks, congestion control, routing, and multiple access schemes for scheduling transmissions are typically regulated by distributed algorithms. Engineers designed these algorithms using clever heuristics that they refined in the light of simulation results and experiments. Over the last two decades, a deeper understanding of these algorithms emerged through the work of researchers. This understanding has a real potential for improving the design of protocols for data centers, cloud computing, and even wireless networks. Since protocols tend to be standardized by engineers, it is important that they become familiar with the insights that emerged in research. We hope that this paper might appeal to practitioners and make the research results intuitive and useful. The methods that the paper describes may be useful for many other resource allocation problems such as in call centers, manufacturing lines, hospitals and the service industry. key words: distributed algorithm, congestion control, routing, scheduling, multiple access, utility maximization, backpressure, entropy relaxation

Improvement of the mechanism of congestion avoidance in mobile networks

Mobile ad hoc network congestion control is a significant problem. Standard mechanism for congestion control (TCP), the ability to run certain features of a wireless network, several mutations are not common. In particular, the enormous changes in the network topology and the joint nature of the wireless network. It also creates significant challenges in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), density ...

Abstract Ad hoc Wireless Networks, are networks formed by a collection of nodes through radio. In wireless networking environment, formidable challenges are presented. One important challenge is connection maintenance mechanism for power consumption. In this paper, a multi-objective optimal design is considered for ad-hoc networks which address the electrical power of nodes effects on cross-l...

Creating Dynamic Sub-Route to Control Congestion Based on Learning Automata Technique in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Ad hoc mobile networks have dynamic topology with no central management. Because of the high mobility of nodes, the network topology may change constantly, so creating a routing with high reliability is one of the major challenges of these networks .In the proposed framework first, by finding directions to the destination and calculating the value of the rout the combination of this value with ...

In this paper, we consider the mobility effect with a jointly optimal design of cross-layer congestion control, routing and scheduling for ad-hoc networks. We first formulate the rate constraint and scheduling constraint. In this way, we use multi-commodity flow variables. Then formulate resource allocation in networks with fixed wireless channel and single-rate devices. Because of entrance of ...
